Lecture Summary: This lecture will review current literature and surgical treatment options for breast cancer. Oncoplastics, hidden scar technique and nipple sparing mastectomy techniques will be discussed as well as options to improve post surgical outcomes and cosmesis. Current literature regarding the axilla will also be discussed reviewing literature on trials for sentinel node biopsy only, adjuvant radiation, axillary lymphadenectomy and reverse axillary mapping.
