Originally from Washington D.C., Pete Foster did his undergraduate at James Madison University, where he captained the men’s soccer team. After graduation, he worked as a surgical assistant where he discovered his love for surgery and subsequently moved to Boston as a researcher at Boston Medical Center. After attending medical school in Western Pennsylvania and a stint as a researcher at the NIH’s National Cancer Institute, he moved back to Massachusetts for his General Surgery training. He is currently a PGY-2 at Berkshire Medical Center, an affiliate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
