Surgeon/Critical care intensivist
St Johns Episcopal hospital
I went to medical school at Touro University California and completed my Residency at St Johns Episcopal Hospital. I went on to do a fellowship in surgical critical care at UCONN. I spent the previous time at another institution focusing on Trauma and critical care. Now I work at St Johns Episcopal Hospital and I started 2 months before the outbreak reached its high point and spent time with another surgical attending creating a new surgical ICU and ran it with residents and PACU RN's. Queen, NY had the highest concentration of COVID-19 positive people in the country at the time of this entry. In addition, I have been in the military (US NAVY) for 12 years now between active duty and reserves. I have been married for 25 years and have three children ranging from 6 to 18.
I do not have any relevant financial / non-financial relationships with any proprietary interests.
